Increasing age
is the biggest risk factor for all type of Dementia. Cases of
Dementia has been increasing rapidly with the growing elders
population in India. It is emerging as a health challenge of
great concern. As an organization engaged in elder care,
Nightingales has recently been entrusted with the
responsibility of taking up the Bangalore Chapter of
Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders of India (ARDSI).
In 2007, the
Nightingales Dementia Care Programme was launched to help in
spreading awareness and in providing support services for
